Anna Harold is an equine-facilitated coach, author, and healer, who works alongside her herd of horses to help people find freedom from stress and overwhelm through the transformative power of equine-facilitated coaching. After a sixteen-year career as a massage therapist for both people and horses, Anna decided it was time to step into her true calling. She now partners with her herd of horses to guide people during intense times of stress, struggle, and pain, so that they may empower themselves to change their lives from the inside out.
Anna received her New York State massage therapy license in November 2004 after attending the New York Institute of Massage. For over a decade and a half, she immersed herself in continuing education initially based in therapeutic and medical massage modalities, from which she built a successful career. A few years later, to feed her passion for horses and to help her own horse recover from an injury, Anna received a certification for equine massage from Equissage NE/NY in Connecticut. Her drive for deeper knowledge led her to receive an advanced certification of Equine Massage and Muscle Therapy from Mike Scott in South Carolina.
During this time, she helped countless two legged and four legged clients find relief from physical pain through the power of touch. Anna started to notice, while working with her human clients, that there was commonly a disconnect between a client’s physical pain and the awareness of the emotional, mental, or energetic cause of that pain. This, along with her own experiences of intense struggles and pain, caused her to turn to the world of energy and metaphysical healing.
Anna went on to study several energy-based healing modalities including meditation, chakra cleansing and reike. She became interested in coaching to help guide her clients through painful times in their lives so that they could heal on all levels. In 2019, she received a certification for Equine Facilitated Learning and Coaching through The Academy for Coaching with Horses in Colorado.
Anna loves to ride her horses, practice yoga, write, and spend time with her boyfriend and their tribe of animals at their home in Harpursville, New York. She is eternally grateful for the experiences of pain in struggle that have transformed her so that she may in turn help guide others on their own paths of healing.
